CartaNova’s CEO, Kazuaki Jindai, delivered a lecture at the Institute of Science Tokyo.

The lecture was held to share the latest developments in the field of infectious diseases and discuss challenges faced in clinical settings.

In addition to in-person attendance, the event was also streamed online via Zoom, with more than 50 participants including healthcare professionals and researchers.

During the lecture, Dr. Jindai introduced the current landscape of infectious disease care and discussed future perspectives, followed by an active Q&A session with participants.

On 27 February 2026, CartaNova presented NovaID at the Tokyo AMR One-Health Conference, a regional forum under the Asia-Pacific AMR initiative (ASPPIRE) that convenes government and public health leaders across the Western Pacific and South-East Asia to strengthen regional coordination on antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

The presentation introduced NovaID as an AI-based clinical decision support and surveillance platform supporting antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention and control, and microbiology capacity, including potential use cases for geographically dispersed and island settings.

CartaNova was also reportedly the first private-sector company invited to present at this government-led forum.
